Chef Jason McCarthy is the consistent force behind the culinary magic at Rick Erwin Dining Group. With roots dating back 18 years as the one of the original chefs of Rick Erwin's West End Grille, Jason's journey began just six months after the restaurant's grand opening. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, Jason blends his educational foundation with hands-on experience, crafting memorable dining experiences.

Currently serving as the Corporate Chef for Rick Erwin Dining Group, Jason orchestrates the culinary departments across all six locations around the Upstate. Beyond his culinary mastery, he serves as a pillar of support for the Executive Chefs under his guidance, fostering a collaborative environment that echoes the company's commitment to creating the most memorable dining experiences in the Upstate.

From West End Grille to Corporate Chef, Chef Jason McCarthy's impact is evident in the flavor and innovation that defines the Rick Erwin dining experience.

  • There is no fee to enter, but if your name is chosen, you agree to donate $500 to the Meyer Center for Special Children for the chef's in-home services for maximum of 8 guests. Food cost not included.

    One entry per chef.

    May enter drawing for as many chefs as you wish.

    Guests may enter drawing at the Chef Drawing Table at the Holiday Luncheon on November 29.
