Pinehurst No. 2 is one of the most revered golf courses in the world, known for its turtleback greens, strategic design, and native sandy waste areas. Originally designed by Donald Ross and later restored by Coore & Crenshaw in 2011, the course has a classic Carolina Sandhills feel, with firm fairways, minimal rough, and a need for precision on approach shots.
It's a pure test of golf-a course where creativity, precision, and patience are rewarded. It has hosted more championships than any other course in the U.S., and its legacy only grows with each major event.
Architect: Donald Ross (1907), Restored by Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw (2011)
Famous Events: Hosted multiple U.S. Opens (2024), Ryder Cup (1951), PGA Championship (1936)
