Set on rolling, tree-lined terrain in Broken Arrow just outside Tulsa, Cedar Ridge Country Club is one of Oklahoma's most accomplished and storied championship courses. Designed by Texas architect Joe Finger and opened in 1969 on a former 200-acre dairy farm, Cedar Ridge earned a place on Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Courses from 1977 to 1985 and famously hosted the 1983 U.S. Women's Open, where Jan Stephenson became the first Australian to capture the title. A sympathetic 2016-2017 restoration by University of Oklahoma graduate Tripp Davis sharpened the bunkering, rebuilt the tees and greens, and cleared dozens of trees, leaving the smartly routed layout feeling fresh, purposeful, and engaging. Today the par-71 course rewards precise, strategic golf with shapely bunkers, glassy bentgrass greens, and water that flashes into play just often enough to keep every shot honest - a genuine shot-maker's test that has held its own among the state's elite for more than half a century.

Golf Digest Rankings #9 Best in State Oklahoma (2025-26). The course was also part of Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest from 1977 to 1985 and hosted the 1983 U.S. Women's Open.
