This photograph by our Project Identity Photography students is the result of a Still Life workshop led by professional photographers Bette Blau and Steven Randazzo. This lively workshop began with an introduction to the world of still life photography from our guest artists and continued with a walk in the forest to forage for objects. Students were encouraged to observe their surroundings with careful intention and find beauty in objects they might have otherwise overlooked. Students then formed groups and collaborated on their still life pieces, first selecting a background, then collectively styling their foraged treasures. Our guest artists assisted the students in capturing their works of art from a bird's eye view perspective with natural light.
