One of the most remarkable artworks by James Mutisya Kasamba, a Kenyan artist who lives in Nairobi, is "In the Middle of the Valley". This painting captures the beauty and diversity of the Kenyan landscape in vibrant colors and shapes. The painting is enclosed in a 15" x 15" wooden glass frame that complements and preserves its quality.
James Mutisya was born in 1971 and pursued interior design at the Creative Art Centre. He decided to become a full-time artist in 1975 and has experimented with different mediums, such as paintings, wood sculptures and linocuts. His work has been displayed nationally and internationally, including at the Karen Blixen Museum, the National Museum, and in the USA, England and France.
