This two-part Trust and Relationship Building Online and Hands-On Course for dogs takes trust and relationship-building skills to a higher level by teaching participants how to communicate before touch, through touch, and with low stress handling. By earning a dog's trust, you gain the permission to interact and physically engage with them on all levels.

The first part of this course is online. The second part is a two day, hands on workshop.

You will learn:

• The nature of dogs from a variety of perspectives - historically, developmentally, behaviorally, socially and physically.
• Why and how to adopt and maintain proper body mechanics and body awareness when interacting with dogs
• Basic low stress handling skills for gaining trust
• How to recognize and interpret canine body language cues.
• Trust building techniques for dogs that are stressed, nervous, shy, fearful, or lack proper socialization.
• Preparation techniques for real time hands-on work with dogs by giving you a basic but vital foundation of knowledge with which to begin.

In Part 2 of Trust and Relationship-Building with Dogs, you'll apply and practice the skills learned in Part 1. This 2 day hands-on workshop will give you extensive real time hands-on practice with a variety of dogs where you will also gain new skills that will allow you to create a connection and effectively communicate with dogs through non verbal communication and touch.
