VIEW ITEMSLet's Change the Game for Mental Health
Calling all Game Changers! Join Wyandot Behavioral Health Network (WBHN) for our second Game Changer Gala on Saturday, February 22nd, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. With your support, we will put recovery - the ultimate finish line - within reach for youth, adults and families in our community.
This special event will celebrate our ongoing commitment to the Wyandotte County community, highlighting stories of resilience and recovery while raising funds to support our continuum of mental health services. Your support could provide hope and support for a child who is experiencing some of the most difficult moments of their life. Or the chance at a fresh start in a safe home for someone who has spent years living on the street. For those battling mental health challenges and healing from trauma, access to quality mental health care and secure housing can be a game-changer. We hope you will join us in making an impact.
MEET OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Kendall Gammon
Kendall Gammon is a 15-year NFL veteran who played in Super Bowl XXX with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gammon then went on to play six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. And even now, he is still part of the team as the host of the Chiefs pregame show on 101 The Fox. Gammon racked up a number of accolades during his time on the field, including being the first pure long snapper to be selected for a Pro Bowl roster.
Beyond his ties to the Chiefs, community involvement is near and dear to his heart as he serves as the Chief Development Officer for War Horses for Veterans. After navigating his own mental health journey and watching his loved ones do the same, Gammon understands that therapy can be a game changer.
