C. Beehler "Franklin Square"
$11000Add this unique 20" x 30" art piece of the "Franklin Square" by local artist, Carolyn Beehler, to your home, restaurant, etc.
Carolyn Beehler is a paper artist living in Franklin, Tennessee. She was born in California but grew up in the South. She attended elementary school on Henpeck Lane and later a classical Christian school and finally art school at O'More College of Design. She spent the rest of her twenties moving around to disparate places including Shanghai, Italy, L.A. and Bloomington, Indiana, because she worried she'd settle down and never get to see the world. Besides art, she likes learning about gardening, shoe design, woodworking and writing.
From the artist:
Paper painting arguably depicts the 21st century better than most traditional art mediums. You could also say it's a style that resonates with the times. The hand cut pieces of pop culture tell the truth about how we experience our lives, that the spaces we move through are mixtures in our minds with whatever we're thinking about on our phones. This image of the Franklin Square demonstrates how this unprecedented way of living further complicates the inherently busy and fleeting nature of modern life. It's an active scene that features a MINI Cooper merging into traffic as much as it features the hectic trees and crosswalk packed with images of Saweetie, Kanye, Wonder Woman, rolls of toilet paper, books, rumpled fabric, Big Bird, chocolates, Harry Potter, chakra points, protests in Egypt, and a chicken crossing the street. This wondrous chaos is a true depiction of life in the information age.
If nothing else, this picture reinforces just how life can turn very strange, spinning out of control, even if we're adults in the diver's seat patiently waiting our turn."

Sarah Wilkes is a classically trained artist whose creative construction revolves around realism, abstract expressionism, and the blending of both. Wilkes disrupts her natural draw towards realism, captured in a limited, monochromatic color palette, by incorporating a strong, abstract, textured background, thereby making the subject the primary focal point and encouraging viewer connection and interpretation.
A Sewanee, Tennessee native, Wilkes holds a B.A. in Art, with a concentration in painting, from Wittenberg University. In addition, she has studied painting at The Kansas City Art Institute, The University of the South, and Pratt Institute in New York City. Wilkes's studio is on her farm in Leiper's Fork, where she also lives with her husband, Matt, their son, Jackson, and their two dogs, Boone and Bailey.

This unique blend is mostly Sangiovese, with some Petite Sirah and a little Cabernet Sauvignon added for complexity. We
blend these 3 grape varieties together to create a silky smooth, medium-bodied red wine with delicious red berry and vanilla
oak flavors. This is our most popular wine.

Aroma: wild berries, black tea
Flavor: red plum, red berries, baking spices
Finish: smooth fruit-forward finish
Arrington Vineyards first opened its doors on July 1, 2007. From the beginning, our goal has been to provide an enjoyable "wine country experience" among the hills of middle Tennessee. Our vineyards were originally established in 2003 when Kip Summers and a fellow wine enthusiast purchased a 25-acre hog farm and planted our first vines. In 2004, Kix Brooks purchased the cattle farm adjacent to the original vineyards, and the idea for "Arrington Vineyards" began to grow. The cattle farm included a farmhouse that was remodeled into our first tasting room and retail store which we nicknamed "The Lodge".

C. Beehler "Farmer's Market"
$3750Add this unique 16" x 20" art piece of the "Farmer's Market" by local artist, Carolyn Beehler, to your home, restaurant, etc.
Carolyn Beehler is a paper artist living in Franklin, Tennessee. She was born in California but grew up in the South. She attended elementary school on Henpeck Lane and later a classical Christian school and finally art school at O'More College of Design. Besides art, she likes learning about gardening, shoe design, woodworking and writing.
From the artist:
The 21st century is a complex one as the "Internet of things" blurs the distinction between what's real and what's virtual. Art can help ground a person, even as it stirs the imagination. This piece depicts a summer morning at the Franklin Farmer's Market, typically packed and picked over by 10 am. This is because we all crave simplicity and sanity. Day and night, YouTube and Twitter and Amazon and email alike plaster us with sales and discounts, bills to be paid, bills to be passed, Botox, supplements you need, skirmishes abroad, nuclear threats, fentanyl statistics, digital currency, outbreaks, storms, cancer, AI, and on and on and on. It's no surprise to see farmers markets trending across the US because they reflect a collective mind that needs a break. There's a hunger to escape back to reality, even with something as simple as picking out strawberries and Buttercrunch lettuce.

Anne Goetze resides in the rural countryside of middle Tennessee. Her cherished subject matter features the life and landscape of her surroundings, as well as a beloved town in the French Alps of Annecy, where she has documented the beauty of the Contemplative Nuns of the Visitation Order.
Goetze was born into a family of artists and photographers, where the walls of her home offered her consistent visual beauty. Both her father and grandfather were photographers, with her mother instilling a deep love of nature. She also cites her influences to be the documentary photography of Dorothea Lange during the Depression Era, and the paintings of the French and American Impressionists from the late 19th century. Her work in plein air and impressionism offers her complimentary mediums of expression through both photography and painting, as well as a particular technique she developed working over the years as a hand retouch artist, where the two mediums are combined. She has studied with many contemporary artists and friends such as Anton Weiss, Quang Ho and Skip Whitcomb. Anne has also created nature and documentary videos to accompany not only her art, but to be used in efforts for land preservation.
Garnering an understanding by documentation, absorption and reflection of an area, she believes whether it be by our roots, transplanting or just traveling through, that we all share in the connection to God's Creation. "We all play a part in the same shared relationships of needing a sense of place and a sense of meaning."
Goetze's work is found in the permanent collections of the Tennessee State Museum, the Booth Western Art Museum, the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, Breast Cancer Center and Psychiatric Hospitals, as well as many personal collections.
Anne Goetze is a member of the Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, Metro Nashville Arts Commission, and a founding member of The Chestnut Group, a non-profit plein air painters group dedicated to land conservancy. She is a dedicated advocate for the environment, and currently serves on the Advisory Boards for Tennessee Warner Parks and The Chestnut Group.
