Welcome to the Effertz EZ Ranch Maternal Excellence Aberdeen Production Sale. The cattle and genetics in this sale are backed by 28 years of ruthless selection for structural correctness, longevity, fertility and productivity. We welcome your participation. If you are lucky enough to get something bought in the sale, we'd like to assist you with transportation in these challenging times. We are offering maximum trucking of $400 per lot to central locations in the continental US.

We have come through 2 years of historic drought and the most snowfall last winter this area has ever seen. Our Aberdeen cattle have handled it amazingly well. We've been able to keep them in good shape with very limited feed supplies. We know they will work in the same way for you.

We are offering the most diverse genetic assortment we have ever presented, 15 different herd sires are represented in this offering. We are also offering a tremendous set of embryos and semen from a wide variety of bloodlines, both current and vintage direct import Australian import bloodlines. Our semen is stored at Hawkeye Breeders in Adel, Iowa and shipment from there will be arranged after the sale.

This Auction has a horse race style finish. Every time someone bids during the last 5 minutes of the auction the clock will extend 5 more minutes until no one bids for an entire 5 minutes. Please note that this countdown duration may be changed without notice during the auction.

SmartAuctions will invoice all buyers and release the lot after payment is received. PAYMENT IS DUE UPON RECEIPT. A credit/debit card will be required ONLY to verify identity of bidders, but you will not be charged for your purchases on your card UNLESS you choose that option or you have not paid for your purchases prior to 30 days after the auction closes. Your credit card will be charged if payment has not been received within 30 days after purchase or arrangements have not been communicated. If your credit card payment is declined at the 30 days your purchase will accrue an interest of 6%. If you pay with a card you will be charged a 5% transaction fee.
