HANNAH LEE HALL is a visual artist based out of St. Paul, Minnesota. She received a BFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Art and Design in 2010. While in Rhode Island she independently studied textiles with a local weaver, sparking a love for the medium and forever influencing her visual language and technique. Themes of decay, dormancy and regeneration are central to her practice. Through her highly textured abstract works, she searches for the common ground between the visceral and the terrestrial. Hannah also co-runs Dog Eye Press, an independent twin-cities based publishing project focused on innovative small-run books that "revel in the messy corners of an artist's practice".
