"Bridging one's identity with place is related to the interrelationship between figure and ground and relates directly to my own process of abstract, image formation. I've been utilizing a loose, hexagonal diagram as a mapping device by stitching together disparate passages and unfinished zones - yet, the honeycomb alludes to an economy of means, of mutual reliance, and creative preservation".
