Join us for the 2023 Joan Hanson Foundation Golf Classic at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus.

This is the 8th year for this event. Many of you have golfed with us every year since it began! We are grateful for the ongoing support of all those who have participated.

The Joan Hanson Foundation was established in 2014 to honor Joan who passed away in 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. The Foundation's mission is to empower children in the Madison area to lead healthy and active lives through sports.
Through donations and profits from the golf outing, the Foundation has provided over $110,000 in grants to sporting organizations including:
Free Bikes 4 Kidz, Boys and Girls Club on Dane County, Eagle Academy, Goodman Waves, Let Me Run, Madison 56ers, Madison Memorial Girls JV Golf, Madison Starlings, Middleton Youth Wrestling, Millennium Soccer Club, Tiger Wellness, The First Tee of South-Central Wisconsin, The Playing Field, Tri 4 Schools, Verona Area Educational Foundation, Verona Area Soccer Club, Vibe Lacrosse, West Madison Little League, & YMCA of Dane County.

The event is on July 14 at Edelweiss Country Club in New Glarus. Registration and lunch will begin at noon with the shot gun start at 1:00 pm. Dinner and silent auction will start around 5:30 pm.
