For 12 years, PGA Professional, Kevin Corn, has hosted a weekly junior golf clinic, exclusively for Ranken Jordan patients. Rain or shine, patients come out to play golf in hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, and on their own feet. Some patients will experience the golf program each of those ways during their time at Ranken Jordan! Many of the patients have never played golf before and never thought golf would be an activity that they, too, could enjoy.
Golf has become a part of the Care Beyond the Bedside model the is key to the success of Ranken Jordan patients. It is a part of their therapeutic healing and overall well-being! It is a bright spot in every week, and we look forward to sharing it with you during the ceremonial tee shot at this year's tournament!

WELCOME TO OZ!

Another extension of our Care Beyond the Bedside model is our OZ (Optimization Zone) program. This program which serves our youngest patients (0-5-year-olds) is focused on play based learning and aims to reduce the adverse developmental impacts that accompany long term hospitalization. Your donation to this year's golf tournament supports our OZ program and gives our patients the opportunity to reach more developmental milestones in a playful environment. The Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital Annual Golf Tournament is dedicated to the memory of our friend, Phillip W. Mull, Jr., affectionately named "The Mullster". Phil's family and friends wanted to celebrate his passion for helping families and his belief in the power of a child's spirit. Phil's memory lives on and his impact continues through the continued growth of this golf tournament and support of his friends and family.
