A staple of the Arts and Crafts movement, the William Morris chair, also named "the first recliner" was first developed in the 1960's in England. This chair has been beautifully restored and has many original features of the Morris chair. An antique due to the overall structural design and the fact that it is made completely of solid oak, the back wooden dowel is the only unoriginal piece. The fabric, a genuine William Morris textile and inspiration for the name of the chair, has been donated by John Brooks of Sanderson Design Group.
