For over 35 years, The Spirit of Life Award has been presented to individuals who exemplify the ideals and values that have guided City of Hope for over a century, compassion, service, integrity, curiosity, excellence and collaboration. The gala holds a tradition of recognizing and honoring an outstanding leader for his or her contribution to business and community, recognizing an individual for their worthy efforts while uniting the industry as a whole in a common effort to eradicate cancer alongside City of Hope.

THE INDUSTRY LEGACY
The National Beauty Industry (NBI) has a tradition of caring that unites professionals from across the country. For over 35 years, the National Beauty has been committed to supporting the critical and lifesaving work of the doctors and researchers of City of Hope. Founded in 1981 by Jack Stork of Chicagoland Hairdressers Magazine and Sandra Garfield of h•a•i•r international, this cohort has expanded while remaining true to it's tradition of caring that unites executives, professionals and colleagues from all over the country, and every segment of the beauty industry.
All proceeds from this event will be used to support City of Hope's mission to deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today. We could not do what we do in the fight against cancer and diabetes without you. When you support City of Hope, you're helping to save lives, accelerate cures and transform the future of health care.
