The Alpha School Gala is the largest fundraiser of the year and this year the Gala Committee is excited to bring you our Mardi Gras Masquerade themed Gala, "Alpha on Bourbon St!" This year's gala features live music, amazing cuisine, fun games, lots and lots of beads, feathers, and a merry atmosphere - so come dressed in your Mardi Gras best and be ready to have an amazing time.
This year's event takes place at the Omni William Penn Hotel Downtown and if you want to book a room for the night you can using the Alpha School hotel room block at the Omni.
Doors open at 6:00pm and this event is open seating, so get there early if you have specific seating arrangements you would like!

- When's the last date for me to order tickets?: Feb 1st (no really, we need to give the venue a final count)
- Can we stay at the Omni?: Yes! Book using the Alpha School hotel room block at the Omni.
- Where should we park? There is $8/night self serve parking in the garage across the street from the Omni.
- What happens at this event?: Doors open at 6pm and you can start playing games, checking out auction items, choosing seats, and hanging out right away! Dinner is at 7pm and the event officially ends at 10pm (but there is an after party until midnight). All in all, this event is just a plain good time.
- Is there a live band?: YES! There is a live eight piece band with vocalist!
- Can I bid on things if I'm not there: Yes! You can bid on items even if you are not at the event. Any items you win you will pick up from the school the week of Feb. 12th!
- Where does bidding for the items listed in this GiveSmart happen?: You can do this right on this platform!
- When does the event end? The official Gala ends at 10pm, however, there will be an after party until midnight
- What are these "games?": These are small fun games ranging in prices from $5 - $20 that you can play throughout the night of the gala.. They include things like "Guess the bourbon," "Mardi Gras Plinko," and a "Mardi Gras Duck Pond."
