"Postcards from Abroad" (30.5"x 42") is an abstract representation of the photos captured in a travelogue. Incorporating several marking techniques from a variety of tools - broom bristles, silicone brush, putty scrapers, stencils - the piece has depth, energy and a sense of carefreeness that comes from traveling without an itinerary. "Postcards from Abroad" won an Excellence in Art award at the Hopkins Center for the Arts (Hopkins, MN) Fall Members' Juried Show and was part of the "Inspired by...Works by Cheryl Kessler" 2023 summer exhibition at the Long Island Children's Museum. Signed by the artist on the back of the artwork; professionally framed and ready to hang.

The winning bid will also receive a 2-hour, in-person "sip and paint" experience with the artist, Cheryl Kessler. Wine provided by The Frisenda Family.
