Take a lesson with New York Athletic Club's Head Tennis Pro in Westchester. Coach Kevin graduated from Iona Preparatory. While at the prep he was a starting forward on the varsity basketball team. Kevin has always had a strong interest in sports and especially tennis. His love affair with tennis started early. He credits winning his first tiny tots match at the age of three as the beginning of his life long ambition and dedication to the sport. Upon graduating the Prep, Kevin was recruited by Iona College to play tennis; he played both singles and doubles for the team. Kevin graduated Manhattanville College where he played number one singles for their team and was All-Conference his senior year.

Kevin brought his experience, talent and enjoyment of the sport to the Prep as head coach in 2010. His father, Kevin F.X. O'Rourke, a noted tennis professional is assistant coach. The pair is a nationally ranked Father/Son team and have played many tournaments throughout the United States. Coach Kevin is the head tennis pro at the Amackassin Club, one of the oldest tennis clubs in the United States. He also teaches tennis at New Rochelle Tennis Club and last year developed and was responsible for their junior tennis camp.

In his second year of coaching the team he led them to the CHSAA championships, a challenge he looks forward to repeating. Kevin credits his team with young talent, enthusiasm and strong athletic skills. He is happy to be back on the Iona Prep campus.
