Meet the Artist - Live Painting

During our puptail hour, after you meet & pet the VIDs, be certain to stop by and see Jennifer Stottle Taylor who will be live painting a work of fine art.

She has also donated a piece of her work for our silent auction. It is a painting of an adorable black pup with a white blaze on the face and neck and can be seen featured in this item's pictures.

The framed painting is 14.5" x 17.5" and is valued at $1000.

Jennifer Taylor is an award-winning internationally known impressionist artist. She has travelled to Europe, Guatemala, Mexico and India for art residencies and to paint Plein Air as well as teach art.

Jennifer grew up in Monrovia, a rural area in Huntsville, AL, riding horses and surrounded by animals and wildlife; she currently resides on a small farm in Taft, Tennessee with her husband, horses, dogs, and cats.

As far back as she can remember, Jennifer has always been drawing taking inspiration from real life; in 2010, she decided to make her passion for art her profession. In fact, painting pet portraits is essentially what catapulted her career. Since "going pro" she has flourished - her subjects include animals, landscapes, figures, and flowers. She participates in many competitions and art shows across the country.

Jennifer loves to share her talent with others and constantly works towards saying more with less by minimizing brushstrokes and using a minimal color palette. She engages in commissions and studio, plein air work.
