How does the online auction work?

Use your smartphone/tablet/computer to bid on items, keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding until the auction closes. Online auction bidding takes place from Thursday, May 18 at 9am and closes on Friday, May 19 at 9pm. 

Raffle items include a 50/50 drawing and an iPad and accessories. Bid on silent auction items and "buy it now" items as well as a preview of some of the Live auction items that will be at the in-person auction on Saturday, May 20th


You will be notified by text if you are a winner.  

Once the auction closes, you can use the auction portal to pay for your winnings or contact Wings of Hope following the event to arrange payment, OR if you also attend the in-person event, cash out there! 

All items must be picked up by the winning bidder at the Wings of Hope office the week after the auction unless other mutually agreed upon arrangements are made. 

Start Bidding

Browse the auction and start bidding on your favorite items! Place your bid on selected items, and if desired, set a maximum bid and GiveSmart will continue to keep you in the running until you reach your maximum. 

Days of Care

A day of care or multiple days of care can be purchased through item #100. This part of the auction is so important in carrying out our mission each and every day. Wings of Hope cares for anyone, regardless of their ability to pay. It is because of YOU, our generous community, that this is possible.

Raffle

You can also participate in our raffles. There are some amazing items along with multiple 50/50 drawings you'll definitely want to get in on! Winners will be chosen with a random number generator. The winners will be notified after the on-line auction closes on Friday, May 19th. Raffle license #R69463.

Keep Active

You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. Keep an eye on your favorite items! If you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been out bid or reached your maximum bid. When the auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items!

For easier bidding you can also set a maximum bid. The auction software will automatically raise your bid by a predetermined increment until your maximum bid has been met or the auction ends. 


After the Auction

Once the auction closes, you can use the auction portal to pay for your winnings. If you choose to pay by cash, check or payment plan, please contact Wings of Hope the week of May 22nd at 269-686-8659. OR if you attend the in-person auction on Saturday, May 20th, cash out there!

If you pay through the auction portal, you may choose to pay for the credit card fees that Wings of Hope would otherwise. These are approximately 3.6% of the transaction.  You can choose to not include the fee or contact Wings of Hope after the event to use another form of payment.

Our payment plan offers the option of putting 20% down of total purchase and spreading the balance over 6 months, INTEREST FREE!! call Wings of Hope the week of May 22nd to set this plan up.

All items must be picked up by the winning bidder at the office of Wings of Hope starting the week of May 22nd (9am-4pm).  Other mutually agreed upon arrangements can be made. 

Each successful bidder should consult his/her own tax advisor regarding any tax questions.

The successful bidder is responsible for arranging for trip, party, meal, etc. within the prescribed time limit and according to specific conditions. Out of courtesy to our donors, please use your trip, party, meal etc. within the timeframe given. 

 


*All bids are final and binding. There will be no exchanges, alterations or refunds on items. Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash. All items are "as is". Please note any restrictions stipulated by the prize donor. Wings of Hope is not responsible or liable for any discrepancies, trips, parties or meals.
