On August 5, 2023 Building Equal Bridges is excited to host our 3rd Annual Tyler Gerth "Be Excellent To Each Other" 5K Fundraiser at the Big Four Bridge Waterfront Lawn. in Louisville Ky. This 5K is held in Remembrance of Tyler Gerth, who was tragically killed on June 27, 2020. We want to honor Tyler and continue the work of Building Equal Bridges The Tyler Gerth Foundation. All Proceeds go directly to Building Equal Bridges 501c3 supporting programs such as The Tyler Gerth Polaroid Project, scholarships like The Tyler Gerth Trinity Class of '11 Memorial Scholarship, The Tyler Gerth photo Competition with the Olmsted Parks and Conservancy, and The Building Equal Bridges Community Grant. We have been operating since January of 2021 and since then, we have been able to raise over $150,000 in funds to help support numerous children in the Tyler Gerth Polaroid Project, create an endowed Tyler Gerth Trinity scholarship, and kick start The Building Equal Bridges Community Grant. We are so thrilled and thankful for our community for the continued support in making a change for the next generation also in helping our community thrive all while continuing the legacy of Tyler Gerth. 501(c)3 ID: 85-257112
