For most of my life since a child of 8 years I've always been completely inspired by Post Impressionist Painting, this was what drove me to paint in oils tirelessly as a child . Now painting I am still inspired by this post impressionist painting style. To paint is a journey into the limits of understanding humanity. My paintings are inspired by Latin America I am capturing the vibrancy, colour and light with energetic brushwork and thick layers of paint. Topics that inspire me are Migration, humanity synergy with nature, movement culture , Capoeira (Afro Brazilian art form) and other cultural expressions. I paint figurative works, portraits and wild nature in a way to reflect upon our existence as humans in its raw form, to take a look at life from a vulnerable soulful perspective. As a wanderer by nature I am always observing how people unite and integrate in society, how we overcome obstacles in life to be our true selves and how Mother Nature can not only be a guide but also a physical force for us to express ourselves.
