A news writer once said of me:
"Santora is attracted to the pure spirit of animals. It is for this reason that Santora has been painting animals since long before she found her preferred medium. [No other subject has ever] called to her in the same way that animals do."

Animals are my passion to paint, especially horses. My own mares are an endless source of inspiration.

Accomplished in several media, I work in acrylic, soft pastel, and with oil paint sticks (pure pigment and linseed oil made into sticks).

Combining abstract and realistic elements, I filter out extraneous details and portray animals in intimate, close-up views.
Whether I use bold strokes of oil paint pigment or pour, spray and splatter acrylic, I express the awesomeness of animals in their clear essence - spirit, soul, and energy.
