Additional Information: This was taken after a public event in San Diego. A trolly was passing by late night and I took a long exposure to capture the lights. This library's design is award-winning, and it is known for having many prominent artist exhibitions.

About the Artist:

Brian McClean is a Coast Guard veteran from Philadelphia, PA. His business McClean Photography began as a hobby to cope with anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. McClean Photography supports individual well-being through the use of Fine Art evidence-based themes, colors, and subjects.

Each work inspires relaxation, hope, and calm. The goal is to help people heal from whatever condition that has them stuck, frustrated or living in discomfort. The art is also intended to advocate for the natural world and the benefits of being in particular environments. As a veteran, I also find it important to help them integrate back into society and find a newfound purpose after military service. Unfortunately, many suffer mentally and on average an alarming 22 veterans take their lives every day in the United States.

After touring in Bahrain, Alaska and other parts of the USA I realized many veterans and their families carry long term stress and are do not have the time to process these things while on Active duty. When they become a veteran and things slow down, they find everything hitting them at once.
Brian McClean has been featured on ABC 10 News, Fox 5 San Diego and CBS 8. His company is a service-disabled veteran and black-owned small business that provides canvas, metal, acrylic and framed prints.
