Additional Information: There is no doubt that in recent years our world has experienced overwhelming changes. Painting with "black & white" I am considering the state of our society and the awakening that is currently happening here.
When working in monotones in the past I have used flashes of lightning to add impact, here a BOLT accentuates the power of compromise.
Eudaimonia is a Greek word literally translating to the state or condition of 'good spirit', 'happiness' or 'welfare', I took liberty with the word and added a c to the ending to "make it" an adjective.
Due to our recent pandemic/social distancing concerns the "Fist Bump" has become the ideal greeting.
Combining all of these elements I created this painting I call "Eudaimoniac Power Bump" expressing power in a coming together of our society as we strive to coexist in a peaceful manner during conflicting times.

About the Artist:
Having studied and learned a variety of media, techniques and styles (including Fine Art and Commercial Art) through out her adult years, Debra J. (recently retired from a commercial graphic art position) now feels the need to utilize her experiences to create and convey the many thoughts floating around in her mind.
Influenced by the obvious twists and turns we have all shared in the past five years, her creations offered here are intended to provoke thought on recent trending topics.
