The most decorated player in team history, Marino spent his entire 17-year playing career with the Dolphins. He played in 242 games (240 starts) and was 4,967-of-8,358 (59.4 percent) passing for 61,361 yards, 420 touchdowns and 252 interceptions for an 86.4 passing efficiency rating. Marino holds 23 Dolphins regular season records (35 overall, including playoffs) and is tied for one other (three, including playoffs). At the time of his retirement, Marino held 25 NFL regular season records and was tied for five others. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Feb. 5, 2005 and enshrined on Aug. 7, 2005. Marino's No. 13 jersey became the second Dolphins' uniform number to be retired, on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at halftime of the Dolphins- Baltimore Ravens game, where he was inducted into the Dolphins Honor Roll. He was also a charter inductee in the Dolphins Walk of Fame on Dec. 4, 2011. Additionally, in 2015 he was voted as one of the Dolphins' all-time top 50 players as part of the franchise's 50th season celebration.
