Our Peak Physical Therapy tree is decorated in memory of our teammate, colleague, and friend, Dr. Ronald Wenger who passed away very unexpectedly earlier this year. Ron was with Peak Physical Therapy for over 5 years, but he had previously owned a physical therapy clinic in Minnesota and graduated PT school from Kansas University.

Ron loved working in physical therapy and really enjoyed the social interactions with his clients. He was a ray of light in our clinic with his bubbly personality and kindness toward his clients and coworkers. He never knew a stranger. He had such high energy and gave his all to providing quality patient care.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and frequently took them swimming at the Durango Rec Center or skiing up at Purgatory. He also spent a great deal of time on his bike and was a regular participant in the Ironhorse Bicycle Classic. We would even catch him on the BMX track occasionally. He also never turned down a sweet treat or goody from Bread.

The ornaments on our tree and the associated gift cards reflect things we think Ron would have enjoyed. And of course, the physical therapy items due to his lifelong commitment to the wellness of others. His passing has left a huge hole in our work family and lives, and we know he would have loved decorating this tree with us!

**Auction winnings will be available for pickup on December 12th & 13th. Winners may choose to pick up their wreath or tree décor/gifts at our Durango or Cortez offices (Community Connections will transport between Durango and Cortez if necessary). Durango pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 or Thurs. 12/14 from 9am-12pm & 1pm-6pm both days. Cortez pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 from 3pm-6pm or Thurs. 12/14 from 8am-1pm. More info will be provided to winning bidders by text and email once the auction closes.
