The accompanying Scandinavian-inspired wreath includes an assortment of red and white ornaments and a whimsical gnome holding a sign that proclaims "Let It Snow!" This theme pays homage to Venture's founder, who was born in Denmark but migrated to Colorado to fuel his passion for mountains and snow.

The board up for auction is a 2022/2023 season Storm 161, and is an ideal choice for freeride aficionados.

Named after Storm Peak (elev.13,487 feet), an iconic peak in the San Juan Mountains, the Storm dominates big lines, tree lines and fresh lines. Simultaneously stout and supple, the 22/23 Storm features a carbonium topsheet and a redesigned core, shaving weight without compromising flex and durability. We use Cold-Rolled High Carbon Edges to maximize edge hold and withstand wear and tear. Straight-Line Rocker, moderate taper and a softer nose provide float in the fresh, while a stiffer midsection and tail drive stability and control.

Winners may choose to pick up their wreath or tree décor/gifts at our Durango or Cortez offices (Community Connections will transport between Durango and Cortez if necessary). Durango pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 or Thurs. 12/14 from 9am-12pm & 1pm-6pm both days. Cortez pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 from 3pm-6pm or Thurs. 12/14 from 8am-1pm.
