An Old Fashion Christmas

Bayfield Boers loves to reflect on the rich history that exists and what better way to do that than to look at and embrace the old fashion Christmas. So, as we chose things for our tree, we thought of two cool things we have in our history that put smiles on our futures faces (kids). So, as you look at our tree you will see all the fun presents those kids enjoyed unwrapping and playing with. As a company nothing is more enjoyable for us than to see our children smile and realize that they are loved. The Christmas Holiday means so much to our family owned business Bayfield Boers. Our company is owned and run by family only. When we think of Christmas, we think of family traditions that are near and dear to our hearts because we love family time. As a family-based company. we do a lot together from learning to work with each other, taking care of others, learning patience, learning to encourage each other in our goals and celebrating our wins to accepting and learning from our misses. Bayfield Boers was started to raise goats for our daughters to show and has grown to be able to help extended families kids to have the same benefits as our own daughters. Through this business the kids learn what it takes to breed, raise, show, and prepare animals for either consumption or to progress to another farm. Through learning this, they gather the skills they need to be amazing adults in our community. Because of these moments as a family, we have learned and taught that giving back does for cones soul. For more than 20 years we have participated in the Festival of Trees and in doing such we have received blessings after blessings by helping others and encourage everyone to participate in helping Community Connections in their effort to help those less fortunate be the best that they can become.

**Auction winnings will be available for pickup on December 12th & 13th. Winners may choose to pick up their wreath or tree décor/gifts at our Durango or Cortez offices (Community Connections will transport between Durango and Cortez if necessary). Durango pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 or Thurs. 12/14 from 9am-12pm & 1pm-6pm both days. Cortez pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 from 3pm-6pm or Thurs. 12/14 from 8am-1pm. More info will be provided to winning bidders by text and email once the auction closes.
