We're thrilled to share that our tree theme this year ??? It's a theme that emerged from the wonderful discussions during one of our Speaking For Ourselves gatherings. When we cast our votes, Origami and Art emerged as the top choices, but something truly special happened during the conversation.

As we discussed these themes, the rich tapestry of Asian culture started to weave its way into our plans. Now, our tree showcases not only the beauty of Origami and Art but also celebrates Asian food, art, and symbols. ???? It's a fusion of creativity and culture that we hope will bring you good luck, peace, and countless happy memories.

What makes this tree even more special is that many of its ornaments and the lovely garland have been lovingly crafted by members of our Speaking For Ourselves group. ?? This group is a community of self-help and self-advocacy, consisting of incredible adults with developmental disabilities. Their creativity and dedication have truly made this tree a work of art.

**Auction winnings will be available for pickup on December 12th & 13th. Winners may choose to pick up their wreath or tree décor/gifts at our Durango or Cortez offices (Community Connections will transport between Durango and Cortez if necessary). Durango pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 or Thurs. 12/14 from 9am-12pm & 1pm-6pm both days. Cortez pickup days/times are Wed. 12/13 from 3pm-6pm or Thurs. 12/14 from 8am-1pm. More info will be provided to winning bidders by text and email once the auction closes.
