Calling all fly-fishing enthusiasts!

You and a friend will join host, Jake Layton, and guide, Brian Gilbert of Hilltown Anglers, on the beautiful Deerfield River in Charlemont, MA! When he is not guiding or fishing himself, Brian builds rods at Thomas & Thomas and his guide skills are esteemed by experts and novices alike.

Spend the day wade fishing or board a drift boat that can be used for a drift trip or to access areas of the river that are not easy to reach by foot. Lunch and most of the gear (rod and reel, flies, waders, etc.) will be provided. Enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, an opportunity to recharge in a pristine environment surrounded by natural scenery and wildlife, and maybe a chance to catch a fish or two (catch and release only). Included with your trip are a number of flies that have been tied by Board Chair, Jake Layton, chosen with the Deerfield River in mind.
