Join us for the second annual golf tournament, Scramble Fore Strays, hosted by and benefiting the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. Proceeds help aid in operating a No Kill animal shelter, placing animals in suitable homes, offering low-cost veterinarian services, and providing educational programs. We do not receive any funding from the city or state and are not affiliated with any national organizations. This means we solely rely on donations from caring individuals like you! Help us save lives by signing up for a sponsorship or signing up to play today! It's a great opportunity to have fun, showcase your business, and most importantly, help homeless animals in our community.
ABOUT COURSE
Island Green Golf Club is an 18-hole course that includes a "million dollar" clubhouse. The course is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. It's a beautiful site to see with rolling hills and outstanding views. With multiple tee boxes, Bermuda tees and fairways and bent grass greens, Island Green offers a challenge to players of all calibers and ensures golfers to have fun!
FORMAT
4-person teams in a scramble format. In a scramble, each player hits one shot; the team selects the better result and continues until the ball is holed. 18 holes.
AUGUST 5TH TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
7:30am: Registration (all competitors are required to check-in at registration upon arrival to Island Green)
8:10am: Pre-Start Announcements, departure for respective tees
8:30am: Shotgun Start
1:00pm: Play concludes and awards ceremony and lunch begins
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee is now $350 per team (use discount code Golf4Strays on right hand side of check-out page before paying), which includes one round of golf, two 2-person golf carts, participation in the golf tournaments (Longest Drive, Longest Putt, Closest To The Putt), score cards, lunch, swag bags, and championship prizes.

GOLF CARTS
Golf carts are provided for tournament players. Only 2 players/2 golf bags per golf cart. Golf carts must stay back 30 feet from the greens, tees, and water hazards, as well as no carts on levees. Parking brake must be engaged before leaving cart.
CANCELLATION, ENTRIES, PAYMENTS, WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS
Cancellation must be done 15 days before date of tournament. Once your team fee has been paid, it will be considered a donation to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri with no refunds issued. All players can pay here, or you can send in a check payable to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. Please write "Scramble Fore Strays" in the memo of your check and mail to 3161 W. Norton Road, Springfield, MO 65803.
