This one-of-a-kind bowl by was handcrafted on a wood lathe by wood artist Roy Tedesco

It was turned from native Black Cherry and has a unique shape to the rim and contrasting sapwood and heartwood. It is suitable for display or use as a serving basin. Measures 14" wide and 6" deep.

It is sealed with a butcher block finish, walnut oil and bee's wax, is food-safe, and will retain its beauty for decades if properly cared for. As with any wooden bowl, it should not be placed in the dishwasher or microwave, and should simply be wiped down with a damp cloth after each use.

Roy Tedesco is a wood artist who lives and creates beautiful turned items, furniture, and other wood art in Kennett Square, PA. He has been turning for over 27 years and creating art with wood since he was 2 years old, when he decided his parents' coffee table wasn't quite right and needed to be 'fixed'. A piece of wood speaks to him and he can see what the wood wants to be in its most perfect form.
