Kelly McLane, born in Wenatchee, Washington, is an accomplished artist who splits her time between Los Angeles, California, and Kansas City, Missouri. She holds an MFA from the University of California, Davis, and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute.

Known for her thought-provoking and intricate works, McLane has exhibited her art in numerous solo and two-person exhibitions, including shows at the Santa Monica College Museum of Art, Denk Gallery in Los Angeles, and the Cleveland Museum of Art. Her work often explores themes of nature, society, and the surreal, engaging viewers with its complex narratives and striking visuals.

McLane's art has been featured in several prestigious group exhibitions at institutions such as the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and the Neuberger Museum of Art. Her pieces are included in the public collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York, highlighting her influence and contribution to contemporary art.
