About Camp Bob Waldorf
Camp Bob Waldorf (CBW) is a nonsectarian, nonprofit camp nestled on 112 acres in the stunning Verdugo Hills of Glendale. Camp Bob Waldorf positively impacts the self-esteem, identity, and feeling of community for 1,000 campers. Owned and operated by Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles, Camp Bob Waldorf encourages youth to try new activities and make new friends in a safe, nurturing environment. Campers can attend overnight summer camp or weekend retreats and come from low-income families - more than 80% have a household income under $50,000 annually. Camp fees are subsidized, and in many instances, our campers attend free of charge.
Activities and experiences at CBW are grounded in the Four Pillars of Camp - Community, Inclusion, Identity, and Respect - which campers put into practice each day while they learn new skills, develop their interests and make lasting memories.
