Natalie Page - Ceramic Artwork No. 2 - Figure

Dimensions : 27¼" H x 17½" W x 1½" D

This ceramic mosaic work was created as a quick and direct line drawing onto the clay and then cut into sections to be fired and then reassembled. The matte glaze colors are subtle and varied almost like sand. It is possible to orient the piece in different directions if desired. The piece is encased in a handmade oak frame and has hanging hardware attached.

Natalie Page is an artist in Philadelphia whose work includes ceramic lighting, tile, decorative art, painting and product design. NPage Studio designs and produces her lighting and select creative projects. The Ceramic Funnel Light Series is her most known body of work. Groupings of these white gloss pendant lights have become her signature and the work has notably been featured in Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Remodelista, Living Etc UK, House and Garden, and Architectural Digest.

"Noticing that nuances emerge when like forms are grouped together invite the viewer to experience a feeling. There is an inherent sensuality in objects that have been imprinted with a human hand. I think it is fair to say that all people who work with their hands recognize this if not search for this and find it pleasurable. What we surround ourselves with has a measurable impact on our lives. The choosing of art and objects is of central value to creating an ever evolving environment that desires to be both personal and inspiring. I am grateful and fortunate to connect with an audience of people who are interested in the handmade and desire to live in this way."

She lives and works with her husband, Robert Ogden the creative behind RTO Lighting. More of their co-mingled work and vision can be found in Lostine, the home furnishings brand.
