Hints of dried herbs further complex this brooding wine. In the mouth, the wine exhibits big, yet very refined tannin, with dark red fruit flavors and a meaty undertone. Give this wine few years of age and a creamier texture will reveal itself.

With an average grade of over 70 degrees, direct southern exposure and little topsoil prior to the roots hitting bedrock, these vines produce concentrated grapes that are full of the rich and robust flavor that the world identifies with Cabernet. Black current, bosenberry, bittersweet chocolate and warm spices round out the pallete keeping it smooth and drinkable while its bright acid and rich tannins keeps this wine food friendly.
