Every New Year's Eve, Shelley Novotny and a crew of long time Living Well staff and people living at our Maryland home, make homemade lasagna. Thirteen years ago, Shelley, who has been with Living Well for an amazing 32 years, went to a pasta making class with a friend at Cooks of Crocus Hill where she met Chef Antonio. She was hooked, and immediately bought a pasta maker. She then brought it to the house and together they created a beautiful dinner to celebrate New Year's Eve - and have been doing it ever since. Staff, family, and anyone who is around, help make noodles and sauce, and together they gather in the kitchen-much like any family-and make a beautiful meal together.
What better way to see our mission in real life, than to come to a home and be a part of it by participating in making a meal together. Shelley, along with Julie Jacob, and Donna Sanderson invite you to bid on this beautiful dinner where you can help along with Elise, Krista, Jim, and others who live there. Includes a three-course meal complete with an appetizer, lasagna dinner and dessert. Plus, accompanying wine with each course.
