Truly incredible pieces of sports memorabilia, these 8x10" color photos come beautifully mounted in a black double frame (with white matte) and depict two career highlights for Steve Cauthen:

The first photo is Queen Elizabeth presenting the Ritz Club Trophy to jockey Steve Cauthen. The trophy is awarded to the jockey who wins the most races during the Royal Ascot. From 1979 to 1992, Triple Crown-winning jockey - and New Day Ranch board member - Steve Cauthen raced in Britain. Steve was champion jockey three times: in 1984, 1985 and 1987, the year he rode seven winners at a four-day Royal Ascot. A major event on the British social calendar since its founding by Queen Anne in 1711, the Royal Ascot occurs each June at the Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England.

The second photo, taken in 2022 at the Queen's Jubilee, includes 40 of Queen Elizabeth II's jockeys, past and present.

From a June 4, 2022 article in the UK's National News publication:

On June 4, 2022, forty of Queen Elizabeth II's jockeys past and present lined up in a spectacular guard of honour for the royal party, before racing on Derby Day at Epsom, in England.

The greats of the saddle, dressed in the famous purple and gold silks, lined up on the steps overlooking the hat-box winner's enclosure before heading onto the track to greet the Princess Royal and other members of the entourage to commemorate the jubilee.

The queen was unable to attend due to ill-health.

Steve Cauthen, who won the Derby three times and was a regular in the queen's silks in the 1980s, flew in from Kentucky to be part of the parade.

"It was an honour to be invited over here for the queen's platinum jubilee celebrations," he said.

"I've been looking forward to this ever since I received the invite. It is such a thrill to be here with all these great jockeys. It was always an honour to ride for the queen and to celebrate her in this way is wonderful."

Steve will autograph the photos (or matte) with an inscription of the winner's choice.
