At The Players Conservatory we want to make training and learning about the craft of acting, creative writing & songwriting accessible to everyone.

Whether you are a hobbyist, taking your first steps in the business or you are a seasoned professional that wants to continue training for when the right role comes your way, we will provide you with training, help and advice whilst having some fun.

The Players Conservatory brings professional working Actors, Directors, Writers and others with a wealth of experience in the film, television and theatre industries to teach their classes to you no matter your age, experience or location. Our classes are held worldwide over zoom and open to everyone at any skill level, any age and any location.

About the Founder:

Sean Maguire comes from a family of teachers and has been professionally making films, television shows and performing on stage for over 40 years. In 2020 he combined his professional skills of acting with his love for teaching and launched The Players Conservatory, an acting school for students across the globe.

Originally from London, Sean started his career at age five starring alongside Sir Laurence Olivier in his final film, A Voyage around my Father. He then rose to fame at age ten when he was cast in the BBC drama "Grange Hill.

He joined the number one show in the UK "Eastenders"? for a year before signing a record deal with Parlophone records and scoring 8 Top 30 hits.

He was cast as the lead in US number one box office feature "Meet the Spartans." Sean has also starred in the TV comedies "Off-Centre," "Eve," and"The Class", as well as the lead role in the Comedy Central series "Krod Mandoon" opposite Kevin Hart. Sean has also appeared in shows such as the BBC series "Scott & Bailey," the hit series "Criminal Minds" and the NBC series "Timeless" as James Bond creator Ian Fleming. He also played a dual role on on SyFy's "The Magicians." as Sir Effingham & The Dark King. Sean is best known for playing "Robin Hood" on the hit ABC series "Once Upon A Time."

Most recently, Sean co-starred in the SnapChat series "Action Royale" and in the science fiction podcast series "Electric Easy". He is also starring in the upcoming Paramount+ film "V Is For Vengeance".

Sean resides in Los Angeles with his wife Tanya and two sons Flynn and Leo.
