Canvas original artwork by local photographer, Ken Takata.
The northern Rocky Mountain region of the United States is a heralded destination for all fly fishers. The Yellowstone/Teton ecosystem plays host to many of the most fabled waters on the planet - the Yellowstone, Madison, Snake, Firehole, Lamar and Missouri Rivers all originate in this land of stunning and spectacular beauty.
Ken Takata is a commercial and fine art photographer specializing in flyfishing, nature and real estate. After attending UCLA and Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, he traveled the world as a commercial photographer. For the last 35 years he's lived in the area surrounding Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Ken's images reveal elements that others often miss, capturing the spirit of his subjects in a timeless and elegant fashion. His photographs are featured widely in galleries, books, magazines and travel media.
