Meet Charlie. He was found in a ditch with large, open, gaping wounds full of maggots all over. A good Samaritan found him and did not keep driving. He pulled over and loaded him in his car, not knowing what the next step would be. Once he made it to us, we knew he needed immediate, emergency care.

We were thrilled when he made it through the first night. We knew he had a fighting chance. And Charlie is a FIGHTER. Day by day he gets a little better. With every bandage change, we know he feels hope. With every pet, he heals. His eyes show us that everything is going to be okay.

Charlie is officially cleared for a medical foster. One step closer to finding his forever family. We cannot wait to see the places he will go. Charlie is going to make that family so very happy!

*If you are the winning bidder and are not in attendance to pick up your item(s) the night of the event at the Four Seasons Hotel artwork will be available for pick up from the Pine Street Shelter starting Tuesday, August 15th. Artwork will NOT be available to pick up before this (unless you are notified otherwise via email). If you are not local to the St. Louis Area, shipping is available for this item upon request (for an additional cost which will be calculated for each piece individually). All winning bidders will receive an email with more information once the auction has closed.
