Artisanal Korean rice wine tour and tasting

Brooklyn based rice wine producer, Hana Makgeolli, celebrates Korean heritage while creating rice wine in a true labor of love. Wines are created with only organic rice, nuruk, and traditional brewing methodologies, creating a complex flavor profile showing the depth of the sool category. Their brews have deep grain flavors and "naturally occurring lactic acid with stronger alcohol by volume that is characteristic of jeongtongju that can only be found in Korea" - said to be like a warm embrace from Korea.

Enjoy a detailed tour of the facility with the HM production team with your party of 8. They will take you through the facility and cover everything from the history of sool to how their wines are made. This tour will be followed by a guided tasting in the Hana Makgeolli tasting room, prior to opening hours. Your tour will be 45 minutes long and your wine flight includes 3 sools.
