Dough Wines was created by Distinguished Vineyards & Wine Partners (the exclusive wine partner of our Advocacy & Sustainability Programs), marking the first-ever winery partnership for the James Beard Foundation.

Dough is rooted in purpose and launched in October 2020 with a mission to "rise to the occasion" by creating positive systemic change for restaurant recovery and ethical operation, diversity and equality in the culinary arts and beverage spaces, and food sustainability. This is accomplished through an annual donation to the Foundation's initiatives supporting such causes. Since launch, dough Wines has contributed over $75,000 in support of these programs.

Head Winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen has crafted a range of limited-quantity and terroir-specific wines, ranging from traditional method Sparkling wines from Willamette Valley to a complex and age-worthy Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Priced from $25 to $75, these wines are only available on dough Wines' website and sold individually or in curated sets that offer a snapshot of a region, style, or variety.
