Ships Inn
Getaway to historic boutique inn on beautiful Nantucket Island
Imagine a beautiful getaway to the recently restored Ships Inn. Built in 1831 by whaling captain Obed Starbuck, the guest rooms are named after the ships he commanded. This historical landmark is the perfect romantic retreat with all the charms of a boutique bed and breakfast inn.
The friendly staff, stunning island, award winning restaurant, and immaculate accommodations are first-rate. The Inn has won many awards and honors, including the James Beard House's Guest Chef of honor. Also, Lucretia Coffin Mott, an early feminist activist and strong advocate for ending slavery, was born on the site in 1793.
During your stay, enjoy dinner with wine pairings for two - with Chef Mark Gottwald's signature American Brasserie-style cuisine that is freshly prepared on the premises. Many ingredients are literally "boat to table" - caught by local fishermen, members of the staff, or Chef Mark himself.
Package includes:
- One room for two nights, double occupancy at Ships Inn
- Dinner for two at The Restaurant at Ships Inn by Proprietor & Chef Mark Gottwald, including wine pairings.
*Must be used between May-October (Ships Inn and Restaurant are only open seasonally). Blackout dates may apply.
