TOM AND DENISE GILCHRIST

Tom and Denise Gilchrist, parents, volunteers, and donors to the foundation.

Tom and Denise Gilchrist joined forces with PCRF when their son Ryan was diagnosed with cancer. Ryan is now 10 years cancer free and graduating from college this spring. The entire family has supported the foundation as committee members, volunteers, and donors over the past 10 years.

Kathy Meehan, Senior Deputy Athletic Director, St John's University.

Kathy started volunteering for PCRF when we launched our Dribble for Victory Over Cancer 15 years ago and has never looked back. She will be retiring this July after 47 years in her role in the athletic department.

This dedication and steadfast support for future generations is exemplary of the Dream Big Award and we are honored to celebrate both the Gilchrist Family and Kathy Meehan.

We are excited to host you for a day on the golf course for our 16th Anniversary Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation Dream. Discover. Cure. Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell, New Jersey.

Over the last 16 years, we have seen our dedicated golfers and DDC community show their support for our mission to make it possible for all children facing childhood cancer to beat their disease and realize their full potential. It is with your help that we have seen dramatic improvements in the treatment, care, and prevention of childhood cancers.

The fact is that donations to pediatric cancer research have declined significantly during the past three years, making the Foundation's work of funding research that accelerates breakthroughs even more urgent today.  With your help, all monies from this tournament will continue to support the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation Laboratory directed by Mitchell S. Cairo, M.D. at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College.
