'Between the Stacks', framed photo by Henk Ruiter Photography [18" x 24"]

While many coasts are defined by their beaches, in Oregon they take great pride in their sea stacks - the many craggy rock formations that dot the coastline.

There are countless such sea stacks up and down the coast, from the iconic to the relatively unknown. As winter waves currently pummel those big rocks, sending up magnificent ocean spray that helps shape these beautiful stacks that form the Oregon Coastline.

Henk Ruiter was born in the Netherlands. When he was in his mid-twenties, he, and his wife, Annet, moved to the United States where he started his career as a Physical Therapist. Henk enjoys photography as a hobby and specializes in landscape photography. Too see more images from his collection, please visit his Instagram page: @henkruiterphotography
