This original acrylic by local artist and Rotarian, Charlie Laliberte, is done on natalensis tree bark. Bark from the natalensis tree was originally used to make cloth. Using the bark from the natlensis tree does not harm the tree as the bark regenerates. Laliberte served as the Art Department Chair at York High School for 28 years before retiring. He and his wife Betty, still live in Elmhurst. They started a Ugandan based charitible organization called Children Up, which educates young Ugandans from grade school through college.

Item measures 30X24 inches and is ready to hang on the wall.

Winning bidder must live within a 30 mile radius to Elmhurst, IL. Arrangements for pickup or delivery will be made after the event.
