Kathleen Herlihy-Paoli holds a degree in Fine Art from Skidmore College, and has taken several graduate classes in painting and printmaking at Pratt Institute. She moved to Missoula in 1995.

She has solo show scheduled for August, 2024 at the Taube Museum in Minot, ND. Other traveling shows are in the works. A solo show, entitled Intermission was exhibited in NYC in Jan/Feb of 2022 at Marinaro Gallery. A show entitled Act Three, was first exhibited at the Missoula Art Museum, then was sponsored by MAGDA to travel to The Emerson in Bozeman, Paris Gibson Square in Great Falls, The Holter in Helena, and MonDak in Sydney.

The summer of 2020 included a residency with Open A.I.R. MT, which was spent at Fort Missoula. In 2018 she had a solo show at the Center for the Arts in Jackson Hole, WY. She has participated in group shows in Missoula, MT, Bozeman, MT, Boston, MA, Portland and Springfield, OR, Philadelphia, PA, Saratoga Springs, NY, and in Sassoferrato, Italy. Her work is in several private collections in the US and in Italy
