Mark Williams Day Break
$600"Day Break"
30"x40" Acrylic on Gallery Canvas
https://www.markwilliams.gallery/
I work primarily in acrylics because it allows me to express my creativity quickly with many layers and techniques within short periods of time.I also like to create digital art using Photoshop, Painter and Procreate. Some of my paintings even provide the basis for many of my digital art pieces - and some digital pieces become the foundation for my acrylic works.
Some pieces are born without planning but are created from the blank canvas - a journey to simply create based on mood and music. There are times when I am inspired by life events or subjects that merit a series as well.In the process of creating most of my work, I strive to create an excitement with the space and color - that the viewer will take part in a whimsical and colorful engagement.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

Taken from a photo from Sunken Gardens. Tropical Coconuts, new growth, still green, impressionistic style.
https://www.facebook.com/DwaynesPaintings
Like most painters, I am inspired by the beauty of nature and exploring variations of color and light. Photography can reproduce details; I aim to express emotion and feeling through the impressions of brushstrokes.
As a Florida resident, I am in awe of the tropical beauty that surrounds us! My inspirations are not only artists like Monet and Van Gogh, but also my art students, family and friends. As a Visual Art Teacher, I am passionate about sharing my love for the Visual Arts with young creative minds. As an Artist, I love to escape to that 'Artist Zone' and forget reality and the problems of life and get lost in the color! I hope to continue growing, learning and evolving with love and feeling through visual expression.

Emily Stehle
$325"Green"
Recycle, Reclaimed Art
Studios @ 5663 Artist
https://www.facebook.com/thehappiestrabbit
Emily Lee Stehle is a Clearwater, FL-based mixed media artist specializing in fiber art who strives to make beautiful things out of discards. An ever-evolving creative basket maker, she began weaving traditional baskets more than 20 years ago learning from books and local weavers. She also took workshops with nationally recognized artists such as Flo Hoppe, Jerry Bleem, Kari Lonning, Marilyn Moore, Jo Stealey and Vladmir Yarish.
Through time, the traditional reed supplies have been switched over to include Florida naturals, trash and other discarded objects. Emily upcycles the unconventional materials with naturals combining traditional weaving techniques to create flat forms, baskets and sculptures. She strives to create beautiful things out of trash, first to show that creating art can cost nothing. Second, it's an opportunity to show how much waste and pollution result from our consumerism.
Her work has been exhibited in shows throughout Florida including Gasparilla Festival of the Arts Emerging Artist 2018 and Florida CraftArt Emerging Artist 2017. She has won numerous awards at the Florida State Fair and grants from Creative Pinellas, National Basketry Organization (NBO) and Fiber Art Network (FAN). She is a member of both NBO and FAN.
Emily's latest project is teaching recycling to make art for a group of disabled artists at the MacDonald Training Center in Tampa. She hopes her recycling practice will inspire others to imagine creating artwork out of cardboard boxes, leftover paint, bottle caps and other "found" and harvested trash.
Now "retired," Emily received her BA in Journalism from Northeastern Unversity in Boston. In her spare time, she freelances as a writer for Creative Pinellas Arts Coast online magazine, plays ukulele in her band (2 Happy Ukers), teaches beginner ukulele, leads jams and directs a one-day music festival at the Florida State Fair.

"In Flight" reflects natural beauty while gliding above the waves.
https://www.kenwagnerimages.com
My name is Ken Wagner, and I am a passionate landscape and nature photographer. For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep appreciation for the natural world and the incredible diversity of life that surrounds us. Through my photography, I aim to capture the beauty and complexity of the natural world and share it with others. I specialize in capturing images of animals in their natural habitats, from majestic predators like bears and eagles to tiny, delicate insects. I believe that every creature, no matter how small, has its own unique story to tell, and I strive to capture these stories in my images. In addition to my work as a photographer, I am also deeply committed to conservation and protecting the natural world for future generations. I believe that photography can be a powerful tool for inspiring others to care about the environment and take action to preserve it. When I'm not behind the lens, you can often find me exploring the great outdoors, observing wildlife and soaking up the beauty of nature. I am constantly inspired by the world around me and feel incredibly fortunate to be able to share that inspiration through my photography. However the journey is never done! The road still calls... As I continue to expand my horizons and learn new insights I will bring you more stunning images of the world that surrounds us all.

Stephen Shortridge Giclee
$285"Chase the Wind"
Limited edition print #30/100 giclee
https://www.shortridgefineart.com/
Art Brokerage: Stephen Shortridge American Artist: b. 1951. Born 1951 in Iowa, Stephen Shortridge grew up in Southern California. Stephen Charles Shortridge is a romantic impressionist who is experiencing much success with his vibrant brush strokes and his hand-enhanced giclees. Shortridge, the artist, may be more familiar to you as an actor. Theatrically he has starred as a series regular in "Welcome Back Kotter" as the southern sweathog 'Beau' and co-starred with Debbie Reynolds on the ABC show, "Aloha Paradise". He spent the year of 1987 playing the role of David Reed as part of the original cast on the CBS daytime soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful". It was after this role that Stephen set his priorities toward business and finally to pursue his love of art. Stephen enjoyed acting but found painting much more creatively satisfying and explains, "...the feeling of being totally free to create as an artist is exciting to me. In acting a large part of the creative process had taken place by the time I was involved. The writer, director, and producer had already made many decisions about the character I would play. In contrast, painting gives me complete control. I may race along in a painting and have a disaster on my hands or something I'm proud of...but, I make the choices and accept the consequences, good or bad. That's freedom...it's precious and the most fulfilling part of being an artist to me."

Paola Nesmith Necklace
$60Red Leather Necklace
Member The Artist Enclave of Historic Kenwood
https://azucenaverde.wordpress.com/
Small treasures from around the world assembled with restless imagination by Paola Nesmith of Azucena Verde. These individually handcrafted necklaces and other small items from fibers and fabrics, charms and amulets, semiprecious stones, glass and metals, reflect a world from tribal chic to whimsical elegance.
For years, Paola Nesmith has been collecting jewels, stones and materials from around the world, but waited for the proper inspiration to begin crafting with them.
When her daughter worked in Iraq in 2006 and asked her to make her some earrings, it launched what would eventually become Azucena Verde. She uses her craft to stifle her worried mind and her unbounding nervous energy. Once Paola started, she couldn't stop.
Originally from Rome, Italy, Paola moved to the U.S. in 1969, then spent 22 years in Puerto Rico before returning to the States to join her daughter in St. Petersburg in 2017 after Hurricane Maria devastated the island.
The name Azucena Verde or Green Azucena derives from the wonderfully aromatic azucena flower prominent in Puerto Rico. The Green represents new endeavors and how life affords people the opportunity to constantly reinvent themselves.
You can visit Paola on Second Saturday Art Walks at her studio (112) in the ArtsxChange in the Warehouse Art District, or by appointment.

Sallie Hackett Brown
$700"By Invitation Only"
Reconstructions Sculpture
Member The Artist Enclave of Historic Kenwood
"No matter how one defines their core identity, they have an inalienable right to pick appropriate partners without any aggression or recrimination."
https://kenwoodartistenclave.org/enclave-member/sallie-hackett-brown/
Early on in life, I developed a unique way of looking and seeing, hearing and listening with a sensitivity to the challenges of everyday life. I call my process "Reconstruction," as I reconstruct and verbalize my observations and familial and societal situations through the vitality of pre-tooled wood and metal components. The process of finding these beautifully tooled, abandoned pieces and putting them together is a reconstruction of how I see people constructing their life situations. Many years of working on craft development in developing countries, heightened my need to convey a clear message of the pain and pathos of everyday life through my work.

Jeneca Luckey
$175"Tree of Love"
19" Rainbow Beach Glass Tree with Armoured Sea Star Topper
Studios @ 5663 Artist
https://www.etsy.com/shop/jenecasfantasea/
Jeneca Luckey was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. She has had a passion for art since she was a child and picked up her first crayon. Her love of art eventually led her to enroll at Columbia College where she studied Graphic Design and Silversmithing. It was there she learned that she would much rather get her hands dirty making wearable pieces of art, than sit behind a desk at a computer making art. This experience, coupled with a move to Florida in 2015, introduced her to a world of new opportunities and ideas. She fused her passion of mixed media art and jewelry making, with her love of the beach, and created her own wearable piece of art - a Seashell Crown.
In August of 2016, she opened her own business named Jeneca's FantaSEA. Since then, she has sold hundreds of Seashell Crowns all across the United States. She makes them for beach brides, mermaid costumes, birthday crowns, pageants, gifts, and more. Every Crown is handmade by her, and one of a kind. Making each one as special and unique as the person who wears it!
